Phase 1, week 1

Ok, I actually committed to do all the lifts today. The cubans kicked my ass and I’m not afraid to say it. Those things are TOUGH! As for the lunges, I’m too uncoordinated. I gave it a good try though (6 reps) so I’m sure I’ll get better at it soon. I also suck at squats. I couldn’t get more than 7 (weight was 135 – I REFUSE to go lower). Maybe next time I’ll do 8. Since nobody was in the gym at 9pm on a Friday night I had the chance to do my crunches. SO EMBARRASSING.

I’m going to do these exercises with 15 reps for three more weeks. Then I jack up the weight and do 8-12 reps for 4 weeks. That’s phase 1. I can do all that. I’m starting to feel firmer already.
