Hal Higdon’s Marathon Training, week 4, day 2

44 minutes.

Clear skies today. That sucked.

It was hotter then it has been for the last few runs but I did OK. I started feeling really thirsty 10 minutes in. Not sure what to make of that. Maybe it was just all the sweat that fell into my mouth.

I hit my 20 minute mark about 15 seconds early. I thought I was going pretty slow but I guess I have no clue how to gauge my speed.

I ended up going out a little later at night so the sun was starting to go down by the time I turned around and finished my second half. It was actually kind of nice then.
